Trepanning BTA Deep Hole Drilling Heads are used in deep hole drilling and boring applications. They are used to drill larger diameters than traditional solid BTA heads. In trepanning, a solid core is left while the outer diameter is removed, leaving the core intact during metal removal.

We custom manufacture Trepanning BTA Heads ranging from 70mm to 300mm, according to our customers’ requirements. We also supply the spares required during the running of the Trepanning Head.
